Solon\'s Laws and Athenian Society

The word democracy comes from the Hellenic words demos (people) and cratos ( ruler), and means the rule of people as foreign to the rule of one or a few. The Grecian bloodline of this word indicates that this term initiatory appeared in Greece, where the democracy thus slowly developed at the beginning of the Common Era. unmatched of the big steps on the way to democracy was make in Athens by an archon statesman who introduced his innovative for that date of reference laws in 530 BC. His laws served to solve the conflicts in the midst of the ruling class of enough aristocrats and the working class of peasants. national leader equalized these two classes in their exemption by cancelling the debt thralldom, giving almost power to peasants by establishing Juries assembly and secured the position of aristocrats by forbidding dowries. The resulting society was much to a greater extent democratic than the preexisting one. In this essay Im going to project the situation in t he Athenian society by the time national leader was appointed as an archon. Im going to describe tercet main problems which ca go ford the crisis and the way Solon tried those problems.
